Dr. Emily Poccia is the newest member of the RestorMedicine team. As a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, she is passionate about helping people live balanced and healthy lives. She is being trained by Lyme disease specialist, Dr. Nicola, in holistic treatment and management of Lyme disease and soon will be seeing Lyme patients following Dr. Nicola’s protocols.
Additionally Dr. Emily focuses on women and children’s medicine such as preconception counseling, detox, nutrition, weight loss and weight management, endocrine balancing, digestive health, acute illness and more. Her goal is to create a more healthy society starting from the youngest age possible. In order to have a healthy garden you must start from the seeds and the soil!
Dr. Emily received her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University in Health and Exercise Science and recently graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona where she received her Doctorate degree and four-year training in Naturopathic Medicine.
Dr. Emily believes strongly in the principles of Naturopathic medicine which center around the innate ability of the body to heal, supporting the body as naturally as possible, treating the whole person, treating the cause, empowering people through education, and prevention of disease.
Dr. Emily has received advanced training in IV Nutritional Therapy, and is offering IV vitamin and mineral treatments, high-dose Vitamin C, glutathione and hydrogen peroxide treatments at RestorMedicine. She is also trained in Applied Kinesiology, Mayan uterine massage, gemstone therapy and hydrotherapy.
Dr. Emily is available on Mondays and Wednesdays 9am-12.30pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-5pm. An initial one-hour consultation is $325 and half-hour follow-ups are $160.
