Peer-To-Peer Consultations

Dr. Nicola is now offering peer-to-peer consultations on topics relating to Lyme disease and tick-borne infections, as well as mycotoxin illness. As a Lyme-literate Naturopathic Doctor with almost 20 years of experience treating chronic Lyme, she is passionate to share her wealth of knowledge and experience with other practitioners so that they can in turn help their patients and clients.

Lyme disease is a complex and challenging illness, further compounded by issues such as mycotoxin illness, heavy metal toxicity and mast-cell activation syndrome (MCAS). It can be extremely overwhelming for practitioners to know where to even start with these complex cases, and how to navigate the twists and turns in the road and move them towards wellness.

Dr. Nicola’s peer-to-peer consultation service is available to practitioners internationally and can be scheduled online. During the consultation, practitioners will have the opportunity to discuss complex cases and receive advice and guidance from Dr. Nicola based on her extensive experience in treating Lyme disease. Practitioners are welcome to bring general questions or specific patient cases to the consultations.

Topics include:

  • Identifying Lyme and co-infections
  • What labs to order and how to interpret them
  • Where to start with complex cases
  • Helping the sensitive patient
  • Navigating Herxheimer reactions
  • Antibiotic protocols
  • Natural/herbal antimicrobials
  • What else to look for
  • Co-managing Lyme and Mold Toxicity

Sessions are recorded and the recordings are provided to the practitioner.

Clients are often willing to pay for peer-to-peer consultations so that their practitioner can learn from Dr. Nicola and be better equipped to help them. Otherwise, fees are paid directly by the practitioner themselves.

The patient/client may be present if it helps to fill in the gaps, but the primary communication is with the practitioner.

Consultations are booked in either 30-minute or 60-minute slots; the cost is $275 for 30 minutes and $550 for 60 minutes.

Practitioners can schedule here.
